FREE Tai Chi offered to anyone 60 and older. Join us online or in person to learn this Tai Chi form designed to improve balance, strength, and coordination with low-impact gentle movements. The 8-week courses begin with Part 1 in the winter session, followed by Parts 1 & 2 in spring and summer sessions (see schedule below). It is advised to take Part 1 prior to advancing to Parts 1 & 2.
Each class includes warmups to energize the whole body and step-by-step instructions of Dr. Lam's Tai Chi for Arthritis & Fall Prevention forms. Suitable for beginners and all fitness levels. Class is taught standing, have a chair available for balance and rest as needed. Check with your physician before beginning if you have any health conditions.
