Tai Chi for Arthritis & Fall Prevention

Provided by Indiana Department of Health

FREE Tai Chi offered to anyone 60 and older. Join us online or in person to learn this evidence-based Tai Chi form designed to improve balance, strength, and coordination with low-impact gentle movements. The 8-week courses begin with Part 1 in the spring session, followed by Parts 1 & 2 in summer. 


Each class includes warmups to energize the whole body and step-by-step instructions of Dr. Lam's Tai Chi for Arthritis & Fall Prevention forms. Suitable for beginners and all fitness levels. Class is taught standing, have a chair available for balance and rest as needed. Check with your physician before beginning if you have any health conditions. 


2026 Class Schedule: 8 Wednesdays 2 - 3 pm ET.
