Tai Chi for Arthritis & Fall Prevention

Provided by Indiana Department of Health

FREE Tai Chi offered to anyone 60 and older. Join us online or in person to learn this Tai Chi form designed to improve balance, strength, and coordination with low-impact gentle movements. The 8-week courses begin with Part 1 in the winter session, followed by Parts 1 & 2. It is advised to take Part 1 prior to advancing to Parts 1 & 2. 


Each class includes warmups to energize the whole body and step-by-step instructions of Dr. Lam's Tai Chi for Arthritis & Fall Prevention forms. Suitable for beginners and all fitness levels. Class is taught standing, have a chair available for balance and rest as needed. Check with your physician before beginning if you have any health conditions.
