Learn essential movements of Yang Tai Chi, the most widely practiced style of Tai Chi in the world. Each class begins with full body warm-ups that build strength and flexibility. Part 1 (of 3) is a beginning 18 movement form which includes Tai Chi walking and other principles to build coherent flow, focus, and spacial awareness. Parts 1-3 include 56 movements providing you the skills to join a Yang group anywhere and follow along with a sense of understanding and ease.
Suitable for beginners and those who can stand unaided for 50 minutes. (See the location here.) Registration includes access to training materials and videos in the Student Portal library.

Yang Fundamentals, Part 2 continues with more advanced full body warm-ups, review of Part 1 and continuing instruction that builds balance, stamina, and mind-body harmony. Over the course of two, 8-week sessions (winter and spring) students will learn moves 18-40 of this 3 part form. Parts 1-3 include 56 movements providing you the skills to join a Yang group anywhere and follow along with a sense of understanding and ease.

Tai Chi for Arthritis & Fall Prevention is an evidence-based gentle Sun style form that strengthens mind and body for better balance and mobility. Each class begins with stress-reducing warm-ups followed by low-impact Tai Chi form instruction designed by Dr. Paul Lam. Part 1 (of 2) is a 21 movement form that integrates agile stepping and qigong breathing that will enhance mind-body awareness.
Great for beginners, accommodations made for all fitness levels. Self-paced video learning series and additional training materials are available in the Student Portal library at no additional cost for all registered students.

Tai Chi Flow combines the best of Tai Chi and Qigong for gentle yet powerful whole body exercise. This class will be practiced with a chair. Participants will be encouraged to explore movements and transitions both seated and standing to build core as well as upper and lower body strength. Enjoy a stress-free flow that you can follow at your own pace.
Suitable for beginners and all fitness levels. Registration includes access both seated and standing Tai Chi Flow videos in the Student Portal library.
