Beginning Tai Chi for Health - Wednesdays 10 - 10:50 am
Beginners and returning students are welcome to join this introduction to Dr. Lam's Tai Chi for Arthritis Part 1 form based on Sun Style Tai Chi. Students will learn a form that combines gentle, slow movements to strengthen muscles and bones, improve coordination and balance, and sharpen mental focus. Each class begins with a series of full body warm-ups before proceeding to the low-impact Tai Chi form instruction.
Intermediate Tai Chi for Health - Wednesdays 11 - 11:50 am
Prior experience with Tai Chi for Arthritis Part 1 suggested. This class practices Dr. Lam’s Tai Chi for Arthritis & Fall Prevention forms and adds Yang style forms, and Qigong. Hone your skills, while cultivating energy, focus, strength, balance, and stamina.
