Beginning Tai Chi for Arthritis & Fall Prevention - Wednesdays at 10 am
(formerly Tai Chi for Health Parts 1 & 2)
Beginners and returning students are welcome to join this introduction to Dr. Lam's Tai Chi for Arthritis form based on Sun Style Tai Chi. Students will learn a form that combines gentle, slow movements to strengthen muscles and bones, improve coordination and balance, and sharpen mental focus. Each class begins with stress-reducing Qigong and a series of full body warm-ups before proceeding to the low-impact Tai Chi form instruction.
Sun & Yang Style Tai Chi for Health - Wednesdays at 11 am
(formerly Tai Chi for Health Part 3 & Practice Group)
Prior experience with Tai Chi for Arthritis, Sun and/or Yang style Tai Chi is recommended. This class practices Dr. Lam’s Tai Chi for Arthritis & Fall Prevention form and adds Yang style forms, and Qigong to increase student’s mental focus, strength, balance and stamina.

Masks are required upon entering The BodyZone and in public spaces. Masks are optional for fully vaccinated individuals during class inside the group fitness room. Classes are led by Christine Bhe who is fully vaccinated and will teach without the use of a mask. Not vaccinated yet? Join us online. Class sizes are limited to allow for social distancing so reserve your spot now. If a class is no longer open, contact Christine to be placed on the waiting list.
$12 per class
Registration and payment required prior to class. No walk-ins will be available.
