Learn essential movements of Yang Tai Chi, the most widely practiced style of Tai Chi in the world. Each class begins with full body warm-ups that build strength and flexibility. Part 1 (of 3) is a beginning 18 movement form which includes Tai Chi walking and other principles to build coherent flow, focus, and spacial awareness. Parts 1-3 include 56 movements providing you the skills to join a Yang group anywhere and follow along with a sense of understanding and ease.
Suitable for beginners and those who can stand unaided for 50 minutes. See the location here. Registration includes access to training materials and videos in the Student Portal library.

Yang Fundamentals, Part 2 continues with more advanced full body warm-ups, review of Part 1 and continuing instruction that builds balance, stamina, and mind-body harmony. Over the course of two, 8-week sessions (winter and spring) students will learn moves 18-40 of this 3 part form. Parts 1-3 (summer and autumn) complete all 56 movements providing you the skills to join a Yang group anywhere and follow along with a sense of understanding and ease.
