World Tai Chi & Qigong Day was started by Bill Douglas over 20 years ago as a way to share the benefits of Tai Chi & Qigong. The purpose of this annual event is:

1. To educate the world of the profound health and healing benefits of Tai Chi & Qigong for individuals, communities, and nations. Learn more about those benefits here.

2. To thank Chinese culture for creating and sharing these profoundly valuable gifts with the world.

3. To bring together people across racial, economic, religious, and geo-political boundaries, to join together for the purpose of health and healing, providing an example to the world. 

4. To give a powerful example of how the power of the internet can be used to foster global health, peace, and well-being.

Join us outdoors this summer...

When: Saturday, August 5, 19 from 11 - 11:45 am weather permitting. Check back here before you leave home. 

What: FREE! Join us for informal Tai Chi & Qigong practice (this is not a class). We will begin with warmups and continue with forms and qigong starting with basic forms and progressing to more advanced as time permits.

Who: All are welcome to join, follow along, or hang out and absorb the good qi.

Where: Broad Ripple Park 1426 Broad Ripple Ave, Indianapolis, IN 46220 .

Parking and restrooms are right of main entrance past the dog park. Walk west towards the new Family Center (left of the entrance and boat ramp) and go down to the lawn area by the White River, we will meet around the benches. Accessible parking and sidewalk is available. You may practice on the lawn or sidewalk. The building provides shade, bring your own water, sun screen, bug spray, hat etc...
