World Tai Chi & Qigong Day was started by Bill Douglas over 20 years ago as a way to share the benefits of Tai Chi & Qigong. The purpose of this annual event is:
1. To educate the world of the profound health and healing benefits of Tai Chi & Qigong for individuals, communities, and nations. Learn more about those benefits here.
2. To thank Chinese culture for creating and sharing these profoundly valuable gifts with the world.
3. To bring together people across racial, economic, religious, and geo-political boundaries, to join together for the purpose of health and healing, providing an example to the world.
4. To give a powerful example of how the power of the internet can be used to foster global health, peace, and well-being.

DownloadFREE Tai Chi offered to anyone 60 and older. Join us online or in person to learn this Tai Chi form designed to improve balance, strength, and coordination with low-impact gentle movements. This 8-week course will be offered in 4 sessions annually. Each class includes warmups to energize the whole body and step-by-step instructions of Dr. Lam's Tai Chi for Arthritis & Fall Prevention, Part 1 form. Suitable for beginners and all fitness levels. Class is taught standing, have a chair available for balance and rest as needed. Check with your physician before beginning if you have any health conditions.

Try traditional Chinese Taiji classes with an emphasis on martial applications with Master Zhichao Ling, Christine's shifu. Master Ling offers Yang Taiji 101 for beginners on Fridays at 4 pm. More info is here.
